Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is a type of engineered wood made from compressed layers of wood strands. It is similar to particle board, but the strands are oriented in specific ways to give it strength and stability.
18mm OSB 3 may have a rough and variegated surface, with individual strips measuring approximately 2.5 cm × 15 cm (1.0 in × 5.9 in), lying unevenly across each other. It is produced in various types and thicknesses.
