A reinforcing mesh is made from woven fibreglass yams and coated with alkaline-resistant latex.
This coating prevents the alkaline present in cement from degrading the glass fibre, resulting in reduced strengths.
Commonly used in the process of applying an external render coat to walls.
The mesh is embedded within the render layer to provide reinforcement, preventing cracks and enhancing the overall durability of the finished surface.
